Comments: Hi , I was at the St Anthony's v Vale of Leven game today, and thought you might like to view the pics I took. They certainly give you a good idea of the dreadful weather they had to play in. Here is the link to the pics... http://www.flickr.com/photos/51854463@N08/sets/72157628265538035/ |

Comments: I did ask your committee about the boy Allan on Saturday and they informed us that he was still out. As fot eh "horrendous tackle" I didnt see it as that but you obviously have your opinion and I mine. Thought both players went in hard and it was an unfortunate injury. Read he had played a couple of games so heres hoping he makes it back to his best JIM CRFC |

Comments: The club will only have a future if people come forward to help in the running of the club. Having given 12 months notice of my intention to take a back seat I now find we are 18 months down the line and there is no significant help forthcoming. If it wasn't for the efforts of the management team there would be no team so it is imperative that anyone with any interest in the club should come along to the meeting on 14th November. |

Comments: Going by the previous week results you could be forgiven if you thought that the Vale might win this by a couple of goals, but the team had other ideas. Right from the start the Vale went into attack and showed what they are really made of. There was lots of talking between the midfield and the front two and a lot more movement by the midfield which resulted in 5 goals from the guys in midfield including a well taken hat trick by Filshie and a phenominal free kick from Broonie that even Messi would have been proud of. This game finished 7-1 going on 10-1. The only part that let the defence down a bit was the lack of clearing their lines quickly and getting caught. Against a better team we may been made to pay for this. Although Filshie scored a fantastic hat trick my MOM goes to Broonie for his movement and domination in midfield. Let's now take this into the game against the Ants and the rest of the league and we should finish well up the table. |

Comments: Much better Vale. Hopefully now we've scored a few, we can keep scoring and carry it into the league, and the Scottish Cup. |
