This was a typical end of season game that was marred by an incompetent referee who should have given the Vale a penalty in the first few minutes but ended up giving a foul against us not only that, every foul in the first half was given against the Vale whether we were to blame or not. It took the ref to the 49th minute to give us a foul. The first half was dominated by the Vale and only had a Rusty Russell goal to show for it. In the second half the Vics came more into the game and started to bully the Vale team off the ball and in no time we found ourselves 2-1 down. On came the evergreen Shuggie Ward and scored what to me was on par a with Archie Gemmells goal in Argentina. I know Hugh Hamill doesn't agree with me but we need to toughen up in the tackles. Let's string a couple of good results together and go out on a high.

I felt like we deserved a point yesterday. 4-2 was a harsh result for us but we have had quite a few wins in our last few games and has been a good season and by the looks of things we will finish in the top half aslong as we take advantage of having a couple of games in hand.
